Irene Ha founded the Baby Reni Foundation (BRF) in 2023 with the urge to reject western institutes and their daunting generalizations and exclusivities. By calling the BRF into being, Ha facilitates the physical space for excluded narratives and endeavors to strengthen and nourish their existence. Her home, which houses the foundation, portrays the coexistence of her personal life and artistic practice: ‘My practice is expansive, it’s more than art making only. It is the way I dress, the people I surround myself with, the art I am interested in, it all goes hand in hand.’
